1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use the HYPD website or contact us about our services. By using the website you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.

2. Who we are and what we do

HYPD is a trading name of Field Property Consulting Limited ("HYPD", "we", "us"). We do two things:

We buy property. HYPD buys residential property directly from owners, on its own account.
We provide property care. We organise maintenance, repairs, renovation project management, tenancy-ready work and related help for owners of property.

HYPD does not act for anyone buying or selling property. We don't market property for sale on anyone's behalf, find properties for buyers, arrange viewings of other people's property, negotiate other people's sales, or take commission on any property sale.

3. When HYPD buys your property

Anything we say about a possible purchase, including an offer on this website, by email or in person, is not binding until we both sign a written sale and purchase agreement. That agreement then sets the terms of the sale. You're free to decline our offer, and we recommend you get independent legal advice before signing anything.

4. Property care services

Before any property care work starts, we'll agree with you in writing what will be done and what it will cost. Some work is carried out by independent tradespeople, and building work that the law requires a licensed building practitioner to do will be done by one.

5. No financial, legal or tax advice

Information on this website and in our conversations about property is general information. It is not financial, lending, legal or tax advice. Please get independent professional advice before making decisions about buying, selling or financing property.

6. Website information

We try to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but it's provided as general information only and may change without notice.

7. Your rights and our liability

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986 or any other law that cannot be excluded. Subject to those rights, and to the extent the law allows, HYPD is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website.

8. Intellectual property

The content, trade marks and images on the HYPD website are owned by or licensed to HYPD. Please don't reproduce them without our written permission.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
